Nine-year-old Tamanna was born to loving parents – a father who was a daily wage earner and a mother who was a homemaker. Though of meagre means, but Tamanna's world was a happy one. However, things took an unexpected turn.

Bandhan Education Centre has paved the way for little Tahera's dream of becoming a teacher. Tahera studies in Standard III and she has been making exceptional progress in self-expression and comprehension, with the guidance from Bandhan's non-formal school.

Anjum was born into a life of poverty. Her father is a daily wage labourer with erratic income. And her mother is a homemaker trying to make two ends meet, albeit barely. Anjum is a specially-abled child; she doesn’t have all the fingers on her hands.
