Next Gen Banker’s Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance is an advanced course for graduates who are looking to make a career in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) industry. Bandhan-Konnagar recognised the need for education on the basics of the functioning of the BFSI industry and created this unique course with the objective of developing a skilled banking workforce. The course is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal.

The objective(s) of the course is to impart functional knowledge and skill to enable aspirants to become successful in the BFSI industry and to provide the BFSI industry with young talent who can start delivering efficiently from day-one.

The course is built around various aspects of banking and finance such as regulatory requirements, laws, processes, products and services, marketing, management of human resources and basic economic and accounting concepts.

The programme was started in the year 2017, in Bandhan School of Development Management campus at Sonarpur (near Kolkata). Till date, 9 batches have passed this course and have been placed successfully in reputed financial institutions / bank on a pan India basis.
