Dr. Meenakshi Bose is a development professional and academic with over 12 years of experience in research, MEAL, and programme insights. She is recognised for her expertise in gender and labour studies, programme evaluation, impact communication, knowledge management, and evidence-based decision-making. She has worked closely with renowned national and international institutions, including UNICEF, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), and the KIIT School of Rural Management at KIIT University. She holds a PhD in Management and has qualified for UGC NET. Dr. Bose is the author of the book – “Valuing Women’s Unpaid Work: Experiences from Odisha” (Aakar Books, New Delhi). Her work has been widely published in national and international journals and edited volumes, including Scopus and WoS-indexed publications.
She currently serves as Manager – Research and Communication at Bandhan-Konnagar (the CSR arm of the Bandhan Group), where she has contributed extensively to the organisation’s core thematic areas such as livelihoods, financial literacy, women’s empowerment, and community development.
