The programme aims to empower aspiring youths from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by offering them support and guidance in their path of being an entrepreneur. Its goal is to promote entrepreneurship and inspire these individuals to launch their enterprises. This initiative was conceived in the year 2021 to identify aspiring youths from rural and semi-urban areas. Bandhan-Konnagar is working to create awareness on the entrepreneurship journey to remove the barriers i.e. social attitudes, lack of skills, inadequate entrepreneurship education, lack of work experience, under-capitalisation, lack of networks, market barriers, etc. Youths are provided handholding support to emerge as successful entrepreneurs in diverse trades.
